Education about the area we live in helps to build a society aware of its roots.
Educating children and teenagers in historical research and in the protection of the cultural and social heritage of the industrial area is a fundamental principle for MuCa. Museum education is therefore essential for the dissemination of knowledge also outside the classroom. Museum education is a culture of participation: during the visit to the MuCa, a renewed emotional relationship will be created between the students, the community and the territory.
The educational proposal for classes is divided into two different types of experience:
- MUSEUM VISIT ROUTES
- WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES/ READINGS
All educational activities aim to promote knowledge of the area and its history among young people.
For a better comprehension of the historical and cultural heritage it is advisable to combine the different types of activities (museum tour and workshops).
